We added some amazing organic blueberry jams, spreads, and syrups from Delices du Lac-Saint-Jean this week. The jams are packed with tons tin wild blueberries and packed with blueberry flavour. These products are made by hand in small batches by the husband and wife team of Monique et Maurice Sénéchal. We found this CBC presentation (en Francais) that shows how they prepare their jams.
The blueberry jams and products we carry from Delices du Lac-Saint-Jean are certified organic by Quebec VRAI.

This week we’ve included gorgeous large bright pink radishes from Ferme la Rosée in our fruit and vegetable boxes.
Instead of slicing them up and tossing them in a salad, we tried heating them up in a curry last week. If you’re feeling adventurous and the hot weather relents, give it a try!
This recipe is close to what we whipped together. To offset the tangy-ness of the radish, sweeten the curry up a little by dicing a couple of the vine tomatoes in your box, toss them in and let them cook down.
